Tammara McCoy is an Outreach Specialist with the Survivors Justice Project, where she advocates for incarcerated survivors of domestic violence and supports individuals returning home under the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act (DVSJA). After coming home in 2023, she has dedicated herself to building communities of care and uplifting the voices of justice-impacted women. At Columbia University’s Center for Justice, she contributes to the Beyond the Bars Conference and other initiatives that highlight care, community, and the leadership of people directly impacted by incarceration.
