We are excited to announce that the 2026 Beyond the Bars Conference will be March 26-29 in New York City!
The Beyond the Bars Conference brings together students, faculty, activists, advocates, practitioners, those who have been impacted by incarceration, community members and more to connect, galvanize, and deepen the work of building justice, equity, community safety and ending reliance on incarceration.
We plan to have registration and a request for workshop proposals ready before the end of the year and will share more conference info as it comes, so make sure you are on our newsletter list and follow us on Instagram!
This year, we are using the app Whova to help streamline conference logistics, and you can download the app here.
