Describe your current work/workplace: New Hour for Women and Children. I attended a training session called EMERGE, you are taught about Advocacy. I fell instantly in love with the work, I am directly impacted by this work and who better to help out. I want change so badly I can taste it. Too many years of lost lives, so much pain and broken community. No one pays the price.
What made you want to join CLI?: I know my life will change for the better, I will learning from powerful women.
What are you most looking forward to as a part of CLI?: I am going to develop lasting friendship. I am very excited about all that CLI is going to offer, this is an opportunity of a lifetime
What do you wish people knew about women who are incarcerated/formerly incarcerated/their families?: I am a beautiful woman who made some mistakes in my life, but you will never know who I am if you don't time to find out. Give people a chance, give what you would want to receive.
